Wobenzym is the product name of a German preparation of several enzymes. Other enzymes to consider that are sold over the counter include serrapeptase, nattokinase, and bromelain.

Is it okay to take a Wobenzym supplement along with a serrapeptase enzyme pill?
   We prefer Wobenzym enzymes and serrapeptase not be combined since we have not seen any human research regarding the potential benefits or side effects of combining the two.

Note: This product could thin the blood and thus one needs to be cautious when combining with Coumadin, warfarin, or other strong blood thinners. The interaction of this product with prescription medications is not fully understood.
